NOTE TO VIEWER 
European media:  From television shows to the radio, newspapers and especially magazines; are not as puritanical as their US counterparts.  Please keep this in mind when viewing and/or using Italian media. 

Television

  • Programmi TV -- A listing of all television programs playing for the week on Italian TV.
  • RAI Edu -- Interesting educational approach.
  • RAI Gulp --  Cartoon Network, Disney Channel, Nick, as well as music all rolled into one Italian style.
  • RAI Replay - A week of past television shows that can be watched.  Comparable to IO's TV on demand.
    RAI Storia - An Italian version of the History Channel.]
  • RAI YoYo --  A site geared toward very young Italian children, i.e.:  Caillou.
  • Meteo in rete - weather channel Italian style online.

Video

  • OVO -- An educational site that will be used significantly in class at all levels.  Must join to view.  Use the new gmail account that you will have created for the course.
  • YouTube -- an old and reliable standby.
  • Italiaca -- an excellent mix of video files and text.

Newspapers
